How Cloud Computing Companies Are Ensuring That Their Consumers Are Satisfied

A cloud computing company operates with a business model where the computing technology that a company needs is delivered in the form of a service. Any business in the service industry knows that customer satisfaction with the level of service delivery is crucial to their ability to succeed in that business sector.
A cloud computing company must, therefore, devise a solution that enables it to deliver the right level of service in a professional and responsive manner. Failure to do so, and they risk anonymity and obscurity, which in a crowded market place such as cloud computing is surely a death sentence on the business.
The first solution that cloud companies have devised to tackle this challenge are service level agreements. These are contracts for cloud computing services. They outline in a clear and easy to understand manner the level of service that the person who is using cloud computing should expect from the service provider. This is beneficial as it establishes a contractual base for future relations.
The obligations of the service provider are usually clearly outlined in the service level agreement. This is meant to ensure that the company that is contracting them has a clear outline of what they should expect from their service providers. This sets the goals that the cloud computing companies must meet and helps make sure that misunderstandings between the provider and consumer do not lead to problems in the future.
The second solution is the use of a cloud management system to provide oversight and monitor the performance of the cloud service provided to the consumer. This system allows the service provider to manage and administrate performance of the cloud accurately at all times. This is vital as it takes a proactive view to addressing the service delivery issue.
By administrating over the aspects of the cloud themselves, the cloud companies are able to ensure that they meet the obligations set in their service level agreement. This also helps them to discover problems with the cloud before they cause any serious challenge to the consumers who are using the product.
Cloud management systems are far more accurate and informative than the traditional systems of getting feedback from the consumer. By accessing the information directly, they ensure that the company gets valuable information, which the consumer may not be able to convey adequately. This is especially relevant where they are dealing with a heavily technical matter such as cloud computing.
