Nokia Lumia 1020 With 41 Mega-Pixel Camera Launched

Nokia has finally launched its most awaited smartphone of the year which features a 41 Mega-Pixel camera in new york. Finnish smartphone makers makes one more attempt to take on its biggest rivals Samsung and Apple. Nokia has placed smartphone with 41 MP camera in its new & popular flagship 'Lumia' and named this smartphone as 'Lumia 1020'.

Nokia claims that their 41 Mega-Pixel Smartphone will change how the peoples take picture & their CEO also claims that it will make point-to-shoot camera's a history. However, lumia 1020 with 41 MP camera is basically launched by Nokia to lure people back from iPhone's & Google's Andriod. One time Cellphones king 'Nokia' is now trying to steal its place from Samsung & Apple.

Nokia Lumia 1020 Specifications & Features:-

Coming to Specs, Nokia Lumia features a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA Display with gorilla glass protection and screen resolution of 332 pixels same as Apple iPhone 5. The Display of Lumia 1020 will come with features like Super sensitive touch for nail & gloves usage and sunscreen readability. The Lumia 1020 will powered by 1.5 quad-core snapdragon processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. On OS front, it will operate on which all lumia's smartphone operates i.e Microsoft's Windows 8.

On Connectivity front, it will features bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, Compass, Proximity, 3.5 Audio Jack, NFC with SIM based security. The lumia 1020 will be powered by 2,000 mAh Battery and will supports wireless charging via accessory cover just like lumia 920. The battery of lumia 1020 will give stand-by time of 16 days and talktime of 13 hours on 3G and Video Playback time for 7 hours hours and Music Playback time for 60 hours.

Coming to camera, Lumia 1020 features a mega 41 Mega-Pixel rear camera & HD 1.2 front snapper for video callings. Lumia 1020 camera will come with features like:-

Optical Image Stabilisation.
6-Lens Optics.
Xenon Flash.
LED support while Video recording.
Nokia Smart Camera Mode.
Nokia Pro Camera Mode.
Backside-illuminated Image Sensor.
High Resolution Zoom.
1080p video at 30 fps.

The Lumia 1020 captures two versions of image of each one in full resolution which can be zoomed or download to PC to take prints and one of 5 Mega-Pixel that can be shared on social networking sites like Facebook & Instgram.

Price & Availability of Nokia Lumia 1020:-

Nokia Lumia is launched in US and will be available by AT&T network via two-year contract @ price of $299.99 and for $699.99 for no contract. It will be available in US by 26th of july and in China & other Europe country by september.

However, there is no official information about launching of this smartphone in india yet. But Nokia's CEO Elop says that indian peoples can expect a cheaper, price competitive version of lumia range with same innovations that will be launched in emerging market of india going forward.
