Smartphones 2013

by Victor Orodi

Samsung, Apple, HTC, Nokia, LG etc are competing for their fair share in the market with Android and IOS gaining the biggest market share.

Nokia is about to release their latest Nokia lumia 1020 which has been leaked online you can Google search it yourself. I`m still not convinced with the direction Nokia is taking, every time they come in, they improve more on their camera compared to anything else not to forget the installed Microsoft Windows which is not really not doing much in the market when it comes to smartphones lets be realistic, you would ask yourself why keep fighting instead of embracing Android OS, I see a company which is losing so much money but it seems they don't really care about it. I can buy a camera Nokia do something else with your phone.
Samsung always comes up with great products every year from bendable smart TVs to Galaxy S4 of different types making a variety for consumers to choose which they prefer more but every year they come up with this crappy design which should be outdated you cannot compare them to HTC and Apple design. The aesthetic of Samsung smartphones suck and i`m not the only one complaining, they make these cool phones look cheap, who wants plastic cover smartphones any more, unless it's a budget smartphone then it sounds reasonable. Samsung needs to do something about it.
Apple, the thing about this company is they keep quiet too much you start to underestimate them then there you go BAM! People lining up to get their hands on the latest products even before launching with millions of pre orders. Apple shares have gone down the stock market which is making investors worried.
People are talking ill about Apple, companies like Nokia and Samsung have been trash talking about Apple with ads saying Apple users are zombified, I think you can watch it on YouTube its funny but let's really look at what Apple is doing. There is a reason to be optimistic if you are an Apple fan, the company recently filed for patents after patents and are also trying to expand their market from smartphones to low budget smartphones (rumor) to smartwatches to automotive industry etc. The real primary goal of a company is basically to secure long term and Apple is doing the same without being distracted from fads, they learned the hard with their maps about distraction.
Still Samsung has been performing better than Apple, fortune released its global 500 ranking Worlds biggest companies by revenue, Samsung was in the 14th spot with revenue of $178.6 billion last year while Apple was ranked 19th with $156.5 billion in revenue
